The Impact You'll Make
As the Head of Industry, Marine and Electrification, you will lead the Asia Pacific drives business across our highest-growth verticals, including Marine, key Industrial hotspots (e.g. metal, chemical), Electrification, and Data Centers. You will play a critical role in shaping and accelerating regional growth with strategy execution, driving end‑to‑end business performance and execution excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the regional business development team, responsible for vertical business growth in selected hotspots
- Drive the pipeline creation, double digit sales growth and business development initiatives
- Collaborate closely with in‑country sales organizations to execute go‑to‑market plans and secure business wins
In this role your key priorities will be to increase industry market share in selected hotspots through aggressive partner business development and OEM growth, strengthen and expand Marine business with system integrators and shipyards and win & scale high value opportunity business with BESS and data centers.
Success in this role requires a combination of strong business acumen, a customer‑centric mindset, high energy, and proactive engagement. You will need a strategic mindset paired with high growth ambition, strict performance management, and solution‑driven leadership. Sharp communication skills and the ability to influence across a matrix and multicultural environment are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the organization, strategy and setup for the regional business development and solution engineering team (Center of Excellence) for strong growth
- Drive pipeline creation, sales performance, and business development activities across all priority verticals
- Own and deliver regional sales targets including growth plans, vertical strategies and go-to-market strategies for selected hot spots
- Develop a repeatable and scalable business model supported by a strong partner and integrator ecosystem with strong partner performance management
- Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with in‑country sales organizations to execute go‑to‑market plans and secure business wins.
- Responsible for E2E setup; strategy, business growth, organization, product mix, customer portfolio (partners, OEMs)
- Develop winning strategies and communicate clear value propositions for Danfoss products tailored to customer needs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business
- Strong business acumen, strategic insights
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sales or business development
- Solid understanding of verticals we work with
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a matrix organization and cross-functional, cross-cultural environments
- Performance-driven, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Strong customer orientation with a focus on company success and profitability
- Energetic, self-motivated, and disciplined
