The Impact You'll Make
Do you want to work with Intellectual Property in a global setting, where your expertise helps protect a strong and well-known brand worldwide?
Intellectual property plays a key role in protecting who we are as a company, and in this role you will be part of our global responsibility to safeguard Danfoss’ trademarks, designs, and domains worldwide.
From our office in Nordborg, you will work closely with brand protection colleagues in Nordborg, Hamburg, and Beijing, forming a united front to protect our IP rights across markets and regions.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a close-knit, international team at the core of a global enterprise.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your primary role will be to manage and protect Danfoss’ trademark, design, and domain portfolio. You will provide legal guidance on IP-related matters to internal stakeholders and collaborate with international IP agents.
- Managing the trademark, design, and domain portfolio.
- Conducting Freedom to Operate (FtO) trademark searches, reporting findings, and advising stakeholders.
- Filing trademark and design applications.
- Handling office actions, oppositions, online infringements, and enforcement of IP rights.
- Providing advice, conducting awareness training, and participating in IP-related projects.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you have a few years of experience working with trademarks, designs, and domains. However, we also welcome applications from candidates without previous IP experience, but we do value that you have a master’s degree in law, such as cand.merc.jur. or cand.jur., preferably with a focus on intellectual property.
As a person, you benefit from working in a structured and thorough way and bring an analytical and curious mindset to your tasks. We would value your initiative, your sense of responsibility, and your motivation to collaborate with others in an international setting.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
