The Impact You'll Make
As our Consultant – IT Vendor Management, you’ll play a key role in enabling efficient, compliant, and well-structured IT procurement and operational vendor management within Danfoss Group Digital & IT (DGDIT).
Your impact? You will support IT managers across the LATAM and NAM regions by ensuring smooth operational vendor management, accurate IT hardware asset data, and well-functioning procurement processes. Your work will directly contribute to cost transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency—supporting stable and scalable IT operations.
You’ll collaborate closely with global and cross-functional teams within DGDIT, as well as with external IT vendors, taking ownership of key operational processes and helping us move toward a more efficient, compliant, and well-governed IT vendor landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will support daily activities within IT Operational Vendor Management (OVM), with a primary focus on the IT Hardware category, while occasionally supporting other IT categories. On a typical day, you will:
- Provide service and operational support to IT managers by handling IT Service Requests related to IT Hardware and other IT categories
- Support and maintain vendor and asset data in the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solution
- Ensure that Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and invoicing processes are followed according to IT procurement standards
- Prepare scheduled analysis, reporting, and follow-ups for internal stakeholders
- Monitor utilization of IT hardware and identify optimization opportunities
- Participate in meetings with local and global IT hardware vendors
- Support compliance activities and ensure that IT procurement and vendor management processes are followed
- Contribute to global and cross-functional initiatives within DGDIT

What We're Looking For

- A relevant degree in economics, procurement, or a related field
- Experience in IT vendor management; experience with IT hardware is a strong advantage
- Strong structured and analytical skills

- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional and global teams
