The Impact You'll Make
Inbound Planner is responsible for operational material planning and execution of inbound activities for the Brazil Condensing unit manufacturing sites in Danfoss. In alignment with site operations, will be responsible for continuous flow of material to the production lines, material availability, logistics flow and routing, stocking decisions and interact with relevant internal external stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply of material.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the planning and Inbound material flow into the production facility.
- Manage Danfoss and bought out component stocking decision at plant, and consider the safety stocks replenishment and lead time demand.
- Coordinate with internal supply chain departments, factories and MRP controllers, procurement team and external vendors to secure required components for production. Coordinate with Global Logistics team for smooth logistics operations (Inbound/Outbound), optimize lead times and managing logistics costs throughout the logistics network of the segment.
- Work closely with SIOP process in translating the demand plan into operational planning and disaggregate information at material planning level.
- Participate in NPD/EPD Projects and drive the supply chain agenda with in the project team.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Commerce/Business Administration with 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain planning and inventory management experience in industrial background
- Understand the procurement and logistics process and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on securing material needed for production operations.
- Excellent English skills and able to communicate across all levels of organization.
- Proficient knowledge on MS Office, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP APO, SAB BI
- Benchmark industry best practices and drive continuous improvement on supply chain processes
