Danfoss is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Junior Import & Export Analyst to join our dynamic and motivated department. In this versatile role, you will manage a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, ensuring the smooth flow of import and export operations while driving continuous improvement in lead times, costs, and service performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up daily on the status of import and export shipments.
• Conduct monthly performance analyses of freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
• Identify and report issues or situations that may impact product availability for the organization.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives for the import and export function.
• Perform quarterly analyses of lead times and transit times for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare and present monthly reports on departmental performance results.
• Drive initiatives focused on cost reduction and lead time optimization.

What We're Looking For

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Knowledge of international trade processes and documentation is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics management tools.
• Background in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
