  • Support laboratory gauge calibration activities, including routine instrument calibration, procedure updates, and accurate documentation aligned with company standards

  • Work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition systems by setting up, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting sensors measuring temperature, pressure, flow, power, torque, and related parameters

  • Assist with software maintenance and enhancements for existing test equipment using tools such as LabVIEW, C++, Java, MATLAB, and Python

  • Contribute to test system development by supporting backend services, databases, and data processing workflows, including report generation and historical data integration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following safety, quality, and documentation standards to ensure reliable lab operations and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science

  • Proficiency in programming with C++, Python, and MATLAB through coursework or hands-on projects

  • Exposure to software development concepts such as backend services, databases, or front-end frameworks, with interest in growing these skills

  • Willingness to learn LabVIEW and work with NI hardware and industrial control systems, including PLC communication

  • Ability to work on-site in Tallahassee, FL from January 2026 through June 2027 (40 hours/week in summer, 20 hours/week during fall and spring semesters), with strong attention to detail and a continuous-learning mindset
