The Impact You'll Make
As our new Laboratory Refrigeration Technician, you will play a key role in strengthening Danfoss’s market position by delivering reliable, high-quality performance testing that enables smarter, more efficient system design. Your work directly supports innovation across advanced refrigeration and HVAC solutions.
By ensuring accurate test results and a dependable lab environment, you will help accelerate the development of next-generation technologies—from CO₂ refrigeration to data center cooling. Your contributions will improve product performance, reduce time to market, and enhance customer trust.
This is a hands-on role where your expertise will shape real-world outcomes—enabling better solutions for customers and supporting Danfoss’s mission to drive sustainable, energy-efficient innovation. Our Application Developement Center (ADC) facility is located in Tallahassee, Florida. The typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver customer and internal test programs with on-time execution and high-quality data to support product validation
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized lab environment using 5S practices
- Execute preventive maintenance on test equipment to ensure uptime and reliable performance
- Partner with engineers and customers to commission test units and resolve technical issues quickly
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, productivity, and workplace safety
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions in mechanical or electrical systems
- Strong computer skills to execute, track, and document test activities accurately
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work for consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams
Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
