The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Lead Designer, you will play a key role in enabling the successful development and delivery of innovative fluid conveyance solutions that support critical data center infrastructure worldwide.

You will ensure high-quality engineering documentation, accurate 3D models and drawings, and efficient execution of design projects that help accelerate product development, improve productivity, and maintain the highest quality standards. Your work will directly support engineering teams, customers, and manufacturing operations by delivering reliable and compliant design solutions.

You will collaborate with global Product Engineering, Application Engineering, CPE, and cross-functional teams while taking ownership of design coordination, quality assurance, engineering change management, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping us build a more innovative and efficient future.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Coordinate small to medium complexity design projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform final quality checks of engineering drawings and models to ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO standards, GD&T principles, and Danfoss drafting practices.
  • Collaborate with global engineering, product, application, and CPE teams to support new product development (NPD), customer product engineering (CPE), and engineering change management activities.
  • Drive process improvement and design automation initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and support team members while contributing technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in UG-NX and Creo, including solid modeling, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings of complex products and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, ISO standards, engineering documentation, technical interpretation, and product validation requirements.
  • Experience with Engineering Change Management processes and PLM systems such as Teamcenter, along with awareness of SAP processes.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and global teams while demonstrating strong communication, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including exposure to Lean, DMAIC methodologies, process optimization, and team development
