The Impact You'll Make
As our new Lead Engineer, Data, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the robust data infrastructure that powers our Digital Twin solutions.
Your work will directly enable data-driven decision-making and analytics capabilities that drive innovation and that both aligns new projects with existing Danfoss infrastructure and create new ones when scope necessitates it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure solutions for data storage, processing, and analysis that support our Digital Twin team.
- Developing and optimizing data pipelines to efficiently process and deliver data and insights to stakeholders.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards across all data infrastructure operations.
- Collaborating closely with data scientists, frontend developers and thermodynamics engineers to understand data requirements and provide technical support for analytics initiatives.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data infrastructure performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency in database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and workflow management platforms (Apache Airflow, MageAI).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or related languages.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English.
