What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensure availability of all our direct materials to our Manufacturing Operations in time and drives our future supplier footprint and delivery strategies
  • Ensure availability of all our direct materials to new project, as project member to provide other supports needed by project manager.
  • Use forecasting tool to secure capacity in area of responsibility. Secure in time contract to supplier when forecast is changing significantly up/down and secure communication and action plan for handling the changes together with project procurement, supplier, production planning and product management. By this you gain high availability of that secure delivery at right time and place.
  • Place order for material according to expected demand, secure order confirmation, follow-up and update order, secure close cooperation between planning and inbound, analyze and close blocked invoices.
  • Establish close cooperation with the suppliers, work with continues improvements, secure that the vendor has the right information on time, forecast, work structured in reducing lead-time, reduce cost, secure structured development plan. By this we can reach logistic excellent.
  • Maintain safety stock, remove or establish safety stock, maintain manual when needed, work with slow movers. Use the zoning tool proactively to achieve the needed stock level.
  • Work structured with reducing lead-time, days of inventory and reaching the target for availability
  • Work with global inbound to assure process are aligned and be implemented

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor degree
  • At least 3 years material planning/buyer related working experiences
  • Good written and oral English communication skills 
  • SAP (MM & PP) experience is preferred
  • Cross-functional teams in PPAP planning or production planning experience  is preferred
  • Pro-active working attitude
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Self motivator and high commitment to the fast growing business environment
