As an M&A Associate at Danfoss, you will help shape the company’s future by supporting strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investments that accelerate sustainable growth. This 12 month fixed term role gives you the opportunity to make a real impact within a defined timeframe while gaining hands on exposure to high value transactions.
You will turn complex financial and strategic questions into clear insights that guide executive decisions. Your work will directly influence how Danfoss expands its portfolio and strengthens its global position as a leader in sustainable solutions.
By contributing to live transactions and strategic initiatives, you will help ensure Danfoss continues to grow responsibly and competitively in global markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support M&A transactions end‑to‑end, contributing to acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and strategic partnerships that drive long‑term growth.
- Lead or support due diligence workstreams, translating financial, commercial, and strategic findings into clear recommendations.
- Build financial models and valuations that inform deal decisions, structures, and negotiations.
- Prepare executive‑level materials, including transaction mandates and presentations for senior leadership.
- Contribute to portfolio and integration activities, supporting business plan follow‑up and cross‑functional post‑merger initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Early career / junior-level experience from investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, valuation, or capital markets, with hands‑on exposure to transactions.
- A strong analytical and financial mindset, with a structured and detail‑oriented approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, used to create clear analyses and compelling presentations.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver high‑quality work under time pressure.
- Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken.
