We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our Kits and Joining inclusive team in Freeport, IL. Machine Operators set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties. Wage Range for this position is $20.34 - $22.50 per hour, with a 7% shift premium.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Adheres to safety regulations and actively supports workplace safety initiatives.
- Complies with all standard work procedures, control plans, processes, and quality guidelines.
- Responsible for setting up, operating, and dismantling unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations.
- Exhibits flexibility in approach and ideas, responds constructively, and supports changes in procedures, processes, technology, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Fits and assemble parts into complete assemblies, ensuring dimensions and alignment are accurately verified.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Capability to apply logical reasoning and comprehension to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently needs to talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Essential vision abilities for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
