We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Machinist to join our inclusive team in Freeport, IL. The Machinist will operate and set up conventional, numerical control (NC), and specialized machines and machining centers to accurately machine steel and brass components. The wage range for this position is $27.75 to $29.00 per hour, with an additional 10% shift premium for the 3rd shift.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized workspace and promotes safety culture. Follows procedures, control plans, and quality standards; operates machines efficiently.

- Completes Total Productive Environment activities and keeps necessary tools.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED is required; alternatively, candidates may have one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Capable of reading and interpreting documents like safety regulations, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedural guides.
- Proficient in performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across all units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
