Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician provides support to Plant Operations in repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant

This is a 2nd Shift position, with work hours 11:00 pm to 3:00 am.  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager. 

• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance manager. 

• Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems. 
• Troubleshoot and repair the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of production equipment.

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA
• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Complete all required reporting and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred 
• Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronic systems a preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions. 
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, and Lasers are a plus. 
• Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in positions that require bending and stretching whileperforming maintenance tasks 
• Strong Computer Skills
• Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• All other duties as assigned
