As our Planning & SIOP Manager, you’ll play a key role in manufacturing and supply chain management, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, inventory, and operations. This position requires a proactive approach and an open mindset to support both internal and external customers
You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams and take ownership of key planning processes and SIOP tools, helping us move toward a more efficient and integrated future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- SIOP Process Management: Oversee the entire SIOP process as defined in DDMS, establishing a structured cadence for SIOP meetings, and ensuring alignment across CSC, OEM customers, production, procurement, and other key stakeholders.
- Demand Planning: Collaborate with global teams to gather accurate demand forecasts, continuously improving forecast precision to reflect market conditions.
- Supply Planning: Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to assess capacity, inventory levels, and supply constraints, adjusting plans to optimize reliability and productivity while ensuring smooth production operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to meet customer demands without excessive carrying costs. Initiate and oversee scrap postings and WIP inventory audits.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze sales trends, production output, and customer demand patterns to support informed planning and operational adjustments.
- Process & Performance Improvement: Implement automation/semi-automation (targeting 30% of operational tasks with M4L in Planning), track KPIs (Reliability, Availability, Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, and Operations), and drive continuous efficiency enhancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, production, procurement, project managers, finance, and global planning teams to ensure smooth execution of plans and projects.
- Technology & NPI Integration: Support the adoption of SIOP-related tools and systems, ensuring seamless introduction of new products and phase-outs without production disruptions.
- Communication & Leadership: Act as a facilitator for audit demonstrations, maintain transparency in SIOP planning, and lead by example to foster collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
- Global Coordination: Negotiate drive availability from other factories for the ED business and support timely project deliveries through close coordination with project managers.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned from other sites to enhance SIOP processes and overall operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with strong communication skills.
- 13+ years of experience in production and materials planning.
- Preferably, experience in automotive or EMS industries.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP PP and MM modules
- Strong team leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- A proactive and well-organized approach to planning and execution.
- Availability during production hours to support business needs effectively
