As our Manager- Product Engineering & Design Engineering, you will play a critical role in strengthening and evolving our global Fluid Conveyance product portfolio, including hoses, couplings, adapters, and fittings. You will lead engineering excellence by driving product innovation, enhancing value propositions, optimizing product lifecycle management processes, and delivering sustainable business growth.

You will collaborate closely with global Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business teams while leading a team of engineers supporting Fluid Conveyance locations across the globe. Together, you will advance a more innovative, efficient, and customer-focused future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a global Product Engineering and Design Engineering team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, talent growth, and organizational capability development.
- Drive engineering excellence by introducing technical differentiators, supporting product innovation, and identifying cost reduction and value engineering opportunities across the Fluid Conveyance portfolio.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as DFSS, DMAIC, Lean, VA/VE, and Danfoss Business System practices.
- Partner with cross-functional and global stakeholders to execute product engineering strategies, optimize PLM processes, and ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
- Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, engineering budgets, and team performance to consistently achieve objectives related to quality, delivery, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience leading technical engineering teams.
- 10–12 years of experience in Product Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD tools, and engineering processes, preferably within a multinational engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering excellence methodologies such as Lean, DMAIC, DFSS, Value Engineering, Project Management, and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, customers, and cross-cultural teams while managing multiple priorities and business objectives.
- A leadership mindset characterized by accountability, proactive communication, collaboration, continuous learning, problem-solving, and a passion for developing people and driving organizational success.
