The Impact You'll Make
As a Manager Projects & Solution, you will lead the design and delivery of electrification solutions that help decarbonize heavy industry—one of the most critical challenges of our time. Based in Chennai, you will work at the intersection of engineering, customer needs, and commercial success to bring impactful solutions to life across India.
In this role, you will bridge advanced electrical system design with real-world applications in industries such as metals, cranes, power plants, and data centers. Your expertise will ensure that customers receive reliable, efficient, and future-ready solutions built on Danfoss technologies.
You will also shape how projects are executed—from early customer engagement to final delivery—while developing teams, strengthening partnerships, and driving continuous improvement in solution excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role as a Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical design with customer satisfaction in the Centre of Excellence team.

Design integrated electrical solutions using drives and power converters to deliver efficient, application-ready systems for heavy industry

Support pre-sales activities by partnering with sales teams to translate customer needs into winning technical solutions

Lead project execution to ensure on-time delivery, quality outcomes, and high customer satisfaction

Collaborate with customers and partners to conduct system studies, simulations, and application optimization

Build capability by training customers and colleagues and strengthening supplier and stakeholder relationships
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and a growth mindset—an individual who is eager to keep learning, improving, and evolving with our technology landscape. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related degree with 15 + years’ experience in Drives & Automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Heavy Industry applications
- Strong expertise in drives, power converters, and industrial automation systems
- Proven ability to design and deliver electrical solutions for heavy industry applications
- Experience in leading projects and teams with accountability for customer outcomes
- Ability to engage customers, influence decisions, and support solution sales
- Willingness to travel and work hands-on with systems and commissioning activities
