The Impact You'll Make
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Danfoss, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and continuously improve these processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our quality standards. By optimizing production workflows, you will help minimize waste and enhance productivity, directly impacting our bottom line.
Your expertise will not only support the utilization of defined processes but will also drive innovation within the factory. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and maintenance, to implement best practices and share knowledge across departments.
This collaboration is vital for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency and cost reduction. Your contributions will be essential in helping Danfoss maintain its competitive edge in the market. As you lead initiatives to refine machining conditions and improve assembly operations, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating on the application of processes across different sectors of the factory to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Actively participating in defining machining and assembly conditions for each operation, contributing to the overall effectiveness of production.
- Elaborating operating programs for machining on CNC machines and other machining operations equipment.
- Managing FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for manufacturing processes related to internally machined parts and assembly operations to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Calculating and defining dimensions and tolerances for cutting parts, machinery, clamping and checking devices, and assembly parameters for assembly equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in process improvement and CNC machining.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming and operating machinery; experience with FMEA and process documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances effectively and provide solutions for process improvements.
- Languages: Proficient in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
What You'll Get from Us
