Danfoss Turbocor is growing and we are adding a 3rd shift! As a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying, reducing, and controlling product and process risks within manufacturing operations. You will directly support the Manufacturing department, ensuring processes meet quality standards, customer expectations, and business goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manufacturing Quality
• Monitor, analyze, and report manufacturing process performance on a regular basis.
• Use performance data to identify risk areas and lead cross functional teams in implementing process/product improvements through documented corrective action procedures.
• Investigate performance trends (positive or negative), determine root causes, and share findings for lessons learned or corrective action.
• Prepare monthly quality reports, including KPIs from all functional areas; develop KPIs when needed from available data.
• Manage containment activities for high risk or quality issues, ensuring proper documentation and customer protection.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
• Conduct internal audits according to the audit schedule.
• Assist with scheduled product audits.
• Support and deliver Quality Tool Training sessions as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Comply with quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility.
Additional Duties
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support manufacturing quality objectives.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Technology, Process Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of progressive experience in supplier quality, process quality, manufacturing operations, or related supplier interactive roles.
• Knowledge and application of:
• PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
• ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Capability Analysis
• Corrective Action Tools
• Design for Manufacturability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications (QE, SQE, etc.) from ASQ or similar organizations.
