We now have an exciting new opportunity for an OT (Operational Technology) Security Specialist to join a newly-formed team committed to driving and supporting the OT security journey throughout our Danfoss Power Soutions segment.
As our new OT Security Specialist, you will be supporting more than 60 factories, playing a pivotal role in translating security requirements into practical, real‑world solutions while ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks such as NIS2, ISA/IEC 62443, and internal ISMS standards. You will work closely with our OT Manufacturing Information Security Lead, the wider business, and DGIT (Danfoss Group IT). This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape and execute OT security guidelines across a €4bn business, with the freedom to influence how OT security is embedded across our operations.
Our preference is for this role to be based at our global HQ in Nordborg, Denmark, although other DPS locations in Denmark may also be considered. The role will involve circa 40 days travel per year to other global sites within Danfoss.
What You’ll Be Doing

Cross‑site OT Security Advisory & Deployment: Provide expert guidance to factories on secure OT architecture and implementation, including segmentation, secure remote access, system hardening, backups, and logging/monitoring. Analyse OT networks and communication flows to support secure design and deployment.

Portfolio Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Maintain a cross‑site overview of common security gaps and improvement opportunities (asset visibility, vulnerability handling, remote access, backup/restore). Drive repeatable remediation approaches and support consistent uplift across all sites.

Daily Operational Support: Enable factories to meet security requirements by advising on secure OT setups and supporting implementation in real production environments. Deliver training materials and workshops to accelerate adoption and strengthen security awareness.

Framework Execution: Bridge, execute, and maintain the OT Security Framework provided by Danfoss Group, ensuring alignment and adoption across all plant stakeholders.
What We're Looking For

Strong technical background with education in OT/IT security, Cybersecurity, Engineering/Automation, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

Demonstrated specialization in OT/ICS security, supported by certifications, training, or hands‑on experience.

Practical experience working in OT/ICS environments (industrial networks, Windows/Linux in production, PLC/SCADA systems). Candidates from IT must demonstrate proven OT exposure.

Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
