As a result of parental leave, we now have an opportunity to recruit an Operational/Plant Controller on 12 month, fixed term contract basis. This role will afford you the opportunity to play a key role in supporting financial transparency, operational performance, and business decision-making within Danfoss Power Solutions in line with our long-term strategic objectives, whilst supporting both established and growing businesses focused on sustainable and electrified solutions.
You will help improve financial visibility, planning accuracy, and operational efficiency by supporting reporting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and budgeting activities. Your work will enable managers and operational teams to make better-informed business decisions and drive continuous improvement across the organization. You’ll collaborate with plant operations, production, supply chain teams, BU controllers, and global finance colleagues while taking ownership of financial follow-up, reporting, KPI analysis, and process improvements, helping us move toward a more efficient and sustainable future.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance follow-up activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and assist in explaining business performance results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production and supply chain to improve financial transparency and operational efficiency.
- Use your analytical and financial skills to monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Continuously learn and contribute to improving financial processes, reporting methods, and ways of working.
What We're Looking For
We expect candidates to demonstrate:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management or similar relvant discipline.
- Basic experience or strong interest in finance, controlling, and business performance analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of ERP systems or Power BI is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate clearly with different stakeholders.
- A proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and take ownership.
Entry-level candidates or professionals with initial experience in finance, controlling, reporting, or business analysis are welcome to apply.
