The Impact You'll Make
As our Payroll Professional (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and legally compliant payroll for all employees.
Your impact?
Through your work, employees, leaders, and internal stakeholders can rely on trustworthy payroll, time management, and reporting processes at all times. You actively contribute to transparency, compliance, and efficiency across our HR processes.
You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, leaders, external providers, and audit institutions, taking ownership of payroll, time management, and all payroll‑relevant processes, helping us build a more efficient and reliable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end monthly payroll for active employees using ADP SmartPay / P&I Loga HR, including payment files, booking lists, and handover to Finance
- Maintain and prepare all payroll-relevant data in P\&I Loga, monitor the BAVD interface, and work with the BAVD portal
- Manage the complete electronic time tracking process, including data maintenance, import of time supplements, and acting as a point of contact for time management questions
- Handle benefits in kind with correct tax treatment, perform accrual calculations, and provide data for monthly and annual financial statements
- Create individual analyses and reports (e.g. for the severely disabled levy), implement works agreements, collective bargaining and legal requirements, and coordinate payroll-related employee communications
- Prepare data and coordinate external audits (e.g. pension insurance, tax authorities, internal audits), while owning the full certification process and related correspondence
What We're Looking For
- Completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification in payroll, plus several years of hands-on payroll experience
- Strong experience with payroll systems—ideally P\&I Loga—and solid knowledge of time management processes
- Ability to work independently, in a structured and responsible way, within a complex payroll environment
- Very good German communication skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
- A mindset focused on accuracy, continuous improvement, and service-oriented collaboration
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like an annual bonus, Christmas bonus, vacation pay, paid vacation, a company pension scheme, BikeLeasing, flexible working hours, and more. These are based on an IG Metall–aligned company collective agreement and may vary by country or contract—but they’re definitely worth asking about.
