You ensure that our employees in Slovakia are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local legislation. Your work builds trust, supports wellbeing, and keeps daily operations running smoothly across Danfoss.
Based primarily in Považská Bystrica, you are the local payroll expert for Slovak payroll, partnering closely with HR and reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. Your reliability and attention to detail make a real difference for employees and leaders alike.
You’ll also be part of a broader, international payroll community, contributing insights, reports, and expertise to global payroll and HR projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process end‑to‑end Slovak payroll each month, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
- Manage attendance data and payroll inputs, turning complex information into correct payroll outcomes
- Handle statutory administration and communication with social and health insurance institutions and tax authorities
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including new hires, changes, exits, and required documentation
- Prepare payroll reports and outputs, supporting the Payroll Manager, audits, and global initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Slovak payroll or HR administration (minimum 2 years) within a local legislative environment
- Practical knowledge of the Slovak Labor Code and payroll‑related obligations
- Strong MS Office skills, especially for data handling and reporting
- English at B2 level, enabling collaboration with international colleagues
- A detail‑focused, collaborative approach, with a strong sense of responsibility
