DPS, India is looking for a dynamic professional for a leadership position who will hold overall responsibility for managing the financial performance of DPS, Wagholi, catering to multiple Strategic Business Units (BUs).
As our Plant Controller, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, enabling informed management decisions, and improving operational and financial results.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing forecasts versus actual performance, identifying business drivers, and evaluating operational metrics. This role requires forward-looking insights to support leadership decisions and drive both short-term actions and long-term strategies that ensure sustainable competitive advantage and strong financial returns on investment.
You will provide proactive financial leadership, ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies, legal requirements, and GAAP. The role also focuses on building organizational capability within the finance function through close coordination with global BU Controllers.
You will ensure that corporate assets are adequately protected and provide operations management with financial guidance necessary to deliver the expected return on those assets.
You will collaborate closely with global BU Controllers and operations leadership, taking ownership of financial performance management, compliance, and strategic financial guidance, helping DPS move toward a more efficient, results-driven, and financially sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead financial planning and performance management processes to deliver accurate profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, cost control insights, and timely financial closure while maintaining integrity of financial reports and general ledger.

Support senior leadership and plant management by analyzing financial forecasts, operating results, capital investment requests, new quotations, and product costing, recommending corrective actions, improving profitability, and advising on financial implications of business and operating strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Shared Service Centers, Global Service finance, and Global BU Controllers to ensure compliance with corporate policies, GAAP, SOX, statutory requirements, internal audits, financial reporting standards, and smooth coordination across General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and ERP systems.

Use your financial, analytical, costing, and modeling expertise to improve cost control, productivity, gross utilization, profitability, capital spending governance, budgeting systems, inventory controls, standard cost updates, and continuous improvement initiatives including EBE, MESH, ELSS, and other BPI efforts.

Continuously strengthen finance capability and governance by building internal controls, safeguarding company assets, ensuring quality and standard finance processes, training finance teams, closing audit gaps, implementing system upgrades, supporting business development initiatives, and maintaining compliance with indirect taxation and statutory laws.
What We're Looking For

CA or CMA (preferably CA) with 8–10 years of industry experience, including 3–4 years in a Business Controlling role within a manufacturing organization of similar scale.

Strong ability to handle critical and high-pressure situations, supported by rigorous follow-up, fast issue resolution, and strong networking skills to ensure timely closure of critical matters.

Highly structured, process-oriented, and meticulous work style, with the ability to manage large financial databases, handle complex financial matters, and optimize time through efficient iterations.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Power BI, and MS Office, with hands-on experience in managing financial data, analysis, and reporting.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial insights and support decision-making.
