We now have an opportunity for an experenced Plant Financial Controller to join our flagship site in Havant, UK (PO9 2NB).
As Plant Controller you will drive financial performance of the plant and act as business partner to multiple stakeholders such as plant operational leadership team, divisional controller and have a close collaboration with the regional Finance team. You will become a part of our global Plant Financial Controller network with opportunities to share knowledge and gain new insights within your field.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead monthly and annual reporting for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations (revenue recognition, inventory valuation, etc)
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Perform monthly costs analysis and follow-up on variances contributing to the achievement of financial targets.
- Coordinate annual budgeting activities. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization and operational improvements
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial policies
- Support Business Unit leadership in providing local data insights and cost transparency
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or professional accounting qualification, complemented demonstrable experience in controlling, cost accounting or financial management
- Experience of working in manufacturing accounting is highly desirable
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge, with familiarity with Power BI being advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to foster positive working relationships thorugh strong interpersonal skills
