We are looking for an experienced and driven Process Engineering Manager to join Danfoss Climate Solutions in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes in a brand-new factory environment. You will be a key member of the local management team, driving ramp-up activities, ensuring process stability, and building a high-performing engineering team. Working closely with global and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help establish a resilient and future-ready production setup.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring high efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Drive production ramp-up, meeting targets for output, delivery, and process stability.
  • Monitor process performance through KPIs, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and process validation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing process engineering team, contributing to factory-level decisions and long-term operational strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within manufacturing, including leadership responsibilities; experience in ramp-up or greenfield projects is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment commissioning, validation, and industrial automation.
  • Solid leadership, people development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English and Bulgarian.
