We now have an exiting opportunity to add a Product Application Engineer (PAE), Electronics & Software in our Connect & Control Solutions business unit. This position is an integral connection between Sales & Marketing (S&M) or Customer and the Business Unit (BU), providing on-site and remote technical support for both internal and external customers across our range of controller products, including embadded controllers and displays. The PAE will also help develop technical content, deliver product training, and assist in gathering market insights to inform Product Marketing Management (PMM), all with the aim of increasing our customer satisfaction.
This role will be based from our main site in Nordborg, Denmark.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key elements of the role will be:
- Technical support and education within the field of electrohydraulic control systems for the Off-Highway market.
- Technical support to Danfoss customers that can be OEMs, distributers and internal Danfoss staff.
- Technical support of Danfoss’ Sales Department, to help Danfoss sell Danfoss Connected & Control Solutions products and software solutions.
- Hold technical face-to face presentations and trainings both at Danfoss’ facilities and at costumer’s premises.
- Develop new technical training and presentation material.
- Collect information about ideas for improvements and bring them as input to the organization and thus turn the customer’s voice into the companies’ development process.
- Bridge the customer advanced question to the internal development department.
- Be the customers advocate in testing the new functionalities.
- Handle customer request notifications (CRNs) from specification into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM ) and use of the Product Life Management system (PLM) to finally complete the CRN task and be responsible for as “mini-project leaders” in the CRN-projects.
What We're Looking For
We would anticipate candidates display:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar discipline, along with demonstrable relevant experience in similar customer-facing position
- Experience in Software development and Electronic development
- Experience of withing in a CRM and PLM system is an advantageous
- Fluentcy in English, both written and verbal
