The Impact You'll Make

As a Product Application Engineer based in Baden-Baden, you’ll help shape the future of data center liquid cooling. You’ll guide customers as they qualify and deploy our quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies across hyperscale and multi tenant environments.

 

Your hands on insights will influence product strategy, future engineering plans, and upcoming developments. Your work will help secure design wins, boost system reliability, and support our mission of making data centers more reliable, efficient, and sustainable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a technical expert for liquid cooling components in data center systems such as racks, manifolds, cold plates, and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs)
  • Leading engineering collaboration with hyperscalers, integrators/OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers, including regular technical meetings and onsite support
  • Managing product qualification activities, from timelines to validation testing and internal coordination
  • Handling quotation and part activation processes together with Sales and ensuring clean setup in Salesforce and SAP
  • Keeping technical documentation up to date in Teamcenter and sharing accurate drawings and specificationsMain task, max 5 bullets]: Lead [project/team/process] to deliver [specific result or value

What We're Looking For

  • Educational background in Mechanical engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering in areas like data centers, cooling systems, thermal management, or fluid conveyance
  • Ability to understand customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system needs such as flow, pressure, materials, and connection types
  • Clear and confident communication in English for customer meetings, trainings, and cross functional collaboration as well as a hands on, customer focused approach and the ability to keep things organized
  • Experience with engineering/PLM and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within EMEA
