What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Own the design and development of innovative hydraulic cartridge valves and components, guiding projects from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, and customers to uncover new opportunities and craft tailored solutions that address unique challenges.
  • Utilize methodologies like 8-D and Design of Experiments to enhance product functionality and resolve complex application or production issues.
  • Partner with Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to continuously improve product quality, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
  • Create and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including product layouts, detailed drawings, and bills of materials using CAD software.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or a related Engineering field.
  • Experience in mechanical component design, showcasing your ability to manage projects from concept to completion, hydraulic systems, cartridge valves, or fluid power products
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in NX Unigraphics considered a plus.
  • Strong understanding of core engineering principles, including fluid dynamics and spring design calculations.
  • Experience with statistical tools or structured methodologies (like 8-D) for problem-solving, combined with excellent communication skills.
