We are seeking a Product Expert to join our Technical Customer Product Support Team, focusing on our electronic controller products: Pack Controller, Programmable Controller, and System Manager. In this role, you will have full value chain responsibility—providing technical answers and solutions to incoming cases and requests, acting as the global expert point of contact for technical support, sales opportunity assistance, and training.
You will work cross-functionally with Product Management, DevOps Engineering, Sales, Local Service Teams, Production, and Quality, in a dynamic agile environment where ownership and proactive problem-solving are key to delivering service, support, and solutions for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical solutions to customer requests via Salesforce ticketing system.
- Test and analyze reported claims or internal solutions on our setups.
- Distinguish between sales opportunities and quality cases, developing solutions aligned with our portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues in PM, DevOps, R&D, Sales, Local Service, and Supply Chain.
- Promote a unified “one way of working” across functional departments.
- Act as a customer advocate, taking ownership of urgent field service cases requiring quick solutions or remote analysis.
- Support project development, create and deliver trainings, literature reviews, videos, technical assistance for field tests, and product launch webinars.
- Develop FAQs, videos, software/product files, knowledge-sharing materials, and application software/integration files for regional support.
- Report quality cases, involve team members, and follow up on resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Digital Services Team, providing product expertise when needed.
What We're Looking For
Background & Skills
Required:
- Solid experience in refrigeration system controls.
- Fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics.
- Strong IT skills at product level, including System Managers and Gateways.
- Knowledge of communication protocols in HVAC-R applications (mainly BACnet).
- Programming skills, preferably in IEC 61131-3 languages (FBD, Structured Text).
- Experience in technical support for electronic controls.
- Understanding of energy efficiency and customer value perception.
- Ability to work with toolchain technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Skills in CO₂ applications.
- Experience with Danfoss Electronic Controllers (SM8xxA, X-Gate, MCX/Alsmart, Pack Controller, Case Controllers) and their integration.
- Knowledge of competitor products and ability to provide cooling application solutions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP.
- Experience in HVAC-R application development.
- Machine Learning and Predictive AI knowledge.
