In this role, you will shape the strategic direction of our end‑to‑end SDLC toolchain, ensuring it evolves with emerging technologies, industry trends, and business needs. By bringing together business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and cross‑functional teams, you will create a unified ecosystem that enables faster development cycles, better collaboration, and higher-quality software delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving the strategic roadmap for the SDLC toolchain by partnering with business and technical stakeholders to align tools, processes, and future capabilities with organizational objectives.
  • Communicating a clear product vision, priorities, and progress updates to stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
  • Understanding business challenges, development workflows, and user expectations to ensure the toolchain remains intuitive, effective, and future-ready.
  • Prioritizing backlog items based on value creation to support continuous improvement across the entire software lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to onboard new tools and define architecture, governance, best practices, and usage guidelines.
  • Working alongside IT colleagues to deliver top-tier user support and drive a culture of learning and excellence in tool adoption.
  • Managing licensing agreements, evaluating cost structures, and identifying opportunities for optimization and savings.
  • Leading the procurement and renewal of all SDLC tool licenses, ensuring compliance and budgeting efficiency.
  • Strengthening cultural alignment by advising development and IT teams on SDLC methodologies, tool best practices, and collaborative ways of working.
  • Ensuring that documentation standards are maintained, updated, and accessible to support continuous team learning and onboarding.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner working within PLM or similar SDLC toolchain environments.
  • Strong understanding of tools used across embedded, mobile, desktop, cloud, and IoT software development.
  • Hands-on experience navigating large product development lifecycles.
  • Good knowledge of Azure DevOps, Polarion, Git, CI/CD practices, and cloud-based pipelines.
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Artifactory, Visual Studio, Docker, and SonarCloud.
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages like C++, C#, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC phases and toolchains across DevOps and DevSecOps.
  • Organized, structured, and detail-oriented in planning and execution.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
