Are you the go-to expert who can turn deep product knowledge into market growth?

Danfoss is seeking a dynamic specialist to be the architect of our Thermoplastic & Connectors growth strategy across the United States. In this high-impact role, you will act as the commercial and technical catalyst for the product line. Your mission is to uncover new opportunities, enable our diverse sales channels to win, and establish Danfoss as the undisputed leader in this space.

This is not a traditional sales role. You are the product champion, the strategic hunter, and the expert consultant, all in one.

Your Mission:

  • Spearhead Market Growth: Identify and hunt for new applications, high-value projects, and strategic prospects, driving the entire US sales pipeline for Thermoplastic & Connectors.
  • Act as the Technical Champion: Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert. You will be the trusted advisor for customers, sales teams, and partners on everything from application design to competitive positioning.

  • Enable the Sales Force: Train, equip, and empower our Fluid Conveyance, multi-divisional, and distribution sales teams to effectively sell our solutions, providing hands-on support in critical customer engagements.

  • Be the Voice of the Customer: Bridge the gap between the market and our internal teams. Translate customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable insights for Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

  • Drive Strategic Wins: Support complex proposals with compelling value-based positioning and technical expertise, strengthening relationships with key OEMs, integrators, and end-users.

What You Bring:

  • Technical Acumen: A Bachelor’s in Engineering/Business or equivalent experience, backed by 3-7 years in a technical role (sales, product support, application engineering).
  • Product & System Expertise: Strong, demonstrable knowledge of hydraulic systems and, specifically, thermoplastic and connector technologies.

  • Commercial Mindset: A proven ability to see market opportunities and a drive to develop new business. Experience in a technical sales or business development role is a major plus.

  • Exceptional Communicator: You can effortlessly translate complex technical details for both engineers and commercial leaders, and you thrive in customer-facing situations. Proficiency in English and Portuguese is required.

  • Collaborative Spirit: You excel at working across functions and are ready to travel throughout the US to support your teams and customers.
