The Impact You'll Make

A Production Operations Technician is responsible for coordinating parts and performing the full range of activities required to assemble, test, paint, package, and ship Danfoss products. This role involves carrying out a variety of manufacturing tasks, including assembling components, operating production equipment, setting up machinery, conducting product tests, and disassembling units or complex subassemblies as needed. All work is performed in accordance with established standard work instructions to ensure consistent quality, safety, and efficiency across the production process.

This is a 1st Shift position, with shift hours 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.A

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitor production lines and equipment to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and help resolve basic equipment issues to reduce downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assist in identifying and reporting equipment problems, production issues, or quality concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist with training new operators on equipment and safety.
  • Rotate through different stations within the assembly cell as needed.
  • Work overtime when required to support production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working on the M46 pump line. Test stand experience is highly preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing or assembly equipment.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and maintain consistent production flow.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to rotate between multiple stations and learn new tasks quickly.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and meeting production expectations.
