Danfoss Turbocor is expanding and we are adding a 3rd shift! Danfoss is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in achieving business goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This role combines tactical decision‑making with hands‑on leadership, spending the majority of the day on the production floor to audit, monitor, coach, and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Problem Solving: Facilitate root‑cause problem solving (RCPS) with employees to overcome obstacles and meet operational objectives.
- Develop Team Members: Train, coach, and counsel employees to ensure job effectiveness; monitor performance, provide feedback, and administer corrective actions when necessary.
- Optimize Workforce: Make and execute work assignment decisions that support KPIs and cross‑training; build high‑performing, flexible teams.
- Foster Culture: Promote employee empowerment, teamwork, and high performance; mentor team leaders and encourage team‑driven results.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of 5S activities and embed continuous improvement practices into daily operations.
- Set and Achieve Goals: Participate in setting departmental goals for labor utilization and efficiency; maintain appropriate headcount levels and process staffing requests.
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain Workplace Standards: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support Quality Objectives: Understand and follow quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education.
- Formal technical training or certifications.
