The Impact You'll Make

 

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in leading and developing a high-performing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations while meeting customer expectations and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation, driving operational excellence and supporting strategic objectives. This 3rd Shift Production Supervisor role schedule is roughly 7:45pm - 7:45am 4 days per week Monday night through Tursday night.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Safety Leadership: Proactively implement and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Production Management: Lead the team to meet or exceed production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to achieve performance targets and embrace Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Empowerment & Engagement: Drive workforce engagement by empowering team members in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote lean manufacturing principles and foster a culture of innovation and learning.
  • Goal Alignment: Ensure departmental objectives align with value stream goals and balanced scorecard metrics.
  • Training & Certification: Oversee operator training, cross-training, and certification processes.
  • Cultural Integration: Embed Danfoss values and philosophies into daily operations and team culture.

What We're Looking For

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with inventory management and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for on-call support (24/7) for manufacturing issues.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
