The Impact You'll Make
As a Project Manager within the Turbocor China Engineering team, the primary work tasks will be leading local China NPD projects,supporting the manufacturing implementation of Turbocor products supporting PMO New Product Development (NPD) strategic projects,and supporting R&D infrastructures planning and implement activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
1.Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from implementation planning and feasibility assessments to final execution.
2.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management using tools like Microsoft Project.
3.Support consistent project management standards and processes in alignment with the NPD PMO's phase-gate project delivery processes.
5. Management of projects in matrix organization with cross functional teams (R&D, purchasing, quality, manufacturing etc.
6.Manage stakeholder engagement with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure project objectives are met.
7.Manage and execute assigned Lab Projects by developing project requirements, specifications, and schedules
8.Serve as the primary on-site leader and liaison in China Manufacturing for NPD projects, managing communication and coordination between local manufacturing teams and the US based NPD PMO.
What We're Looking For
1.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2.5+ years of project management experience in a product or process development environment, with a proven track record of working directly with engineering and manufacturing teams.
3.Strong knowledge of project management principles. PMP certification is preferred.
4.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others in a matrix organization.
5.Proven ability to manage cross-functional, global teams and negotiate for resources.
6.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in working manufacturing challenges
7.Fluency in English is required.
