The Impact You'll Make

As our Purchasing Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials to the Danfoss Reynosa Site, directly supporting our operational efficiency and production goals. Your impact? By effectively managing a team of Tactical Buyers and analysts, you will optimize inventory levels, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Success in this role means improved supplier delivery performance and a streamlined purchasing process, benefiting not only our manufacturing operations but also our customers who rely on our products.

You’ll collaborate with Strategic Procurement, Production Scheduling, and Customer Service teams, taking ownership of material replenishment processes and inventory management, helping us move toward a more efficient and sustainable future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the tactical buyer team to deliver 100% execution of the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring all materials meet production needs.
  • Support internal stakeholders by establishing strong relationships with Strategic Procurement, Production Planning, and Order Fulfillment teams to align on customer requirements and demand changes.
  • Introduce and manage Material Replenishment procedures to optimize inventory levels and ensure supply meets demand.
  • Ensure the purchase of all raw materials aligns with Min-Max levels and MRP requirements to support the plant production schedule.
  • Continuously learn and share knowledge to enhance how we operate and serve our customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management with a strong ability to deliver reliable material supply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and SAP, with a strong understanding of MRP systems.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, particularly in written and verbal formats.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, with a focus on problem-solving and proactive management.
