The Impact You'll Make

Are you passionate about driving high‑quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Danfoss is seeking a Quality Analyst to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Based in Van Wert, OH and reporting to the Sr. Quality Engineer, this role plays a key part in advancing continuous improvement initiatives, reducing nonconformities, and strengthening data‑driven quality performance across the plant.

 

This position will analyze quality issues, support audits and compliance activities, and ensure that production processes meet both customer and Danfoss quality expectations. Success in the role is defined by achieving key quality KPIs, improving documentation accuracy, and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Interpret and apply critical quality documentation including blueprints, PFMEAs, control plans, job instructions, and measurement tools.
  • Analyze production quality data to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and prevent defects.
  • Coordinate and complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages for new or revised products.
  • Support internal audits, document nonconformances, and ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Drive error‑proofing initiatives and support new product development with quality-focused input.
  • Maintain compliance with gage calibration systems and document management requirements.

What We're Looking For

Required (Basic) Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, fishbone, basic statistical process control).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications (including GD&T).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Outlook, and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
  • Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality role.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or hose assembly environment.
