You’ll collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams, taking ownership of quality control plans, audits, and problem-solving methodologies—helping us move toward a more efficient, compliant, and customer-focused future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to eliminate manufacturing defects, reduce scrap, and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Support cross-functional teams on APQP, PPAP reviews, and change management (ECOs) to ensure seamless product launches and process modifications.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address non-conformances promptly, ensuring containment and corrective actions meet corporate and client expectations.
- Use your skills in Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC) to improve capability, stability, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct internal audits and process layered audits (PLAs) to ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in automotive quality engineering within a manufacturing environment to manage floor containment, reduce scrap, and handle complex root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and strong knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / CCR standards.
- Experience leading, coaching, and managing technical personnel such as Quality Technicians and Lab Testing Technicians.
- Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Red X) to deliver robust, data-driven corrective actions.
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to present technical data, reports, and action plans confidently.
