The Impact You'll Make
As our Quality Engineer, the key responsibility will be ensuring product quality that we buy from suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Ensure that our Asian external suppliers provide the agreed quality for parts and services
• Performing supplier claim handling process
• Supporting customer claims handling process
• Lead production part approval process (PPAP process) with suppliers
• Support Project Team with quality deliverables (i.e. product audit)
• Perform external audits at suppliers – QMS and Manufacturing Process Audit
• Work closely with supply chain engineers and procurment to ensure product with high quality
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor Degree or above, major in Engineering or related
• At least 5 years of experience on SQE or similar position (pref. in automotive company)
• Experience of ISO/IATF16949 quality standards (practical experience with IATF Core Tools (FC, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, 8D)
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 quality standard (nice to have)
• Fluent in English and Chinese, spoken and written
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Practical experience in working with suppliers about quality cases
