The Impact You'll Make
As our Supplier Quality Intern, you’ll play a key role in monitoring supplier quality issues and initiate and follow up the credit note processes.
Your impact? Success means establishing a seamless bridge between quality deviations, material disposition, and financial recovery. By ensuring that non-conforming materials are efficiently rejected, inspected, and returned, and that the associated credit notes and scrap are tracked accurately. The SQE team will benefit from your structured follow-ups, resulting in faster dispute resolutions, minimized Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and stronger supplier accountability.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and Accounts Payable and take ownership of the end-to-end material rejection and financial recovery workflows, helping us move toward a more efficient future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the creation, monitoring, and administrative workflow of the supplier credit note process to ensure timely financial recovery for quality defects.
- Support the Supplier Quality Engineering team by monitoring key performance indicators (such as COPQ), generating accurate KPI reports.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to communicate quality issues, coordinate the shipment/collection of rejected materials, and participate in cross-functional PPAP projects.
- Use your skills in data management and quality control to create robust inspection plans and optimize the process of the incoming inspection of raw material.
- Continuously learn and share knowledge regarding supplier quality standards to enhance how we operate and minimize supply chain disruptions.
What We're Looking For
- Active student of Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a strong interest in quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel for KPI tracking and data analysis), with an eagerness to learn ERP systems (SAP), material inspection tools, and quality documentation.
- Ability to work well both independently when managing material rejection workflows and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English, essential for maintaining clear and assertive communication with international suppliers regarding quality claims.
- A mindset of continuous improvement, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
