The Impact You'll Make

As a representative of R&D, the technician is responsible for handling all technical coordination between R&D and plant operations related to new product development during the pre-SOP stage including prototype building up. Also corperate with manufacture engineering, qulity, production departments to solve the related problems from productions line and customers. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for coordination on NPD issues between R&D and manufacture, engineering, quality and production, especially on transferring design to manufacture smoothly.
• Responsible for prototype building up.                                                                                        
• Responsible for sample testing issues including supporting R&D engineer to create test plan.
• Feedback the information collecting from testing, production, quality and customer to R&D to improve design continuously.   
• As an R&D representative to join tier 2 meeting daily and deal with other departments to solve related issues or feedback to R&D manager if needed.                                                                
• Cooperate with other departments to access the suspect products daily.                                         
• Focus on cost out and CI projects identification.                                                                                   
• Complete the assigned job from manager.                                                                                                
• Support customer on-site audit issues.

What We're Looking For

• Background in mechanical engineering.
• Communication and problem solve skills.
• Familiar with PDP process, TS16949 standard, DFSS tools etc.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with SAP, TC, Minitab.
