As our new Sales Development Manager, Data Center - Sensors, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of sensing products in the North American data center market. Data centers are a rapidly expanding sector with significant growth expected in the coming years. The Sensor Sales team is responsible for enabling Danfoss to capture growth in the rapidly expanding data center market. We deliver sensing solutions that ensure optimal performance, minimize energy usage, and support customers in achieving their growth ambitions. Danfoss builds digital solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to a more sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary sensor sales contact for data centers in NAM.
- Collaborating with Danfoss Climate Solutions sales teams and Sensing product & segment managers to increase sensor adoption in data centers.
- Driving opportunity clarification and progressing towards winning new business opportunities.
What You’ll Do Every Day
On a typical day, you will:
- Work with key account managers to present the Sensing portfolio and develop sensor opportunities in NAM.
- Partner with key account managers and product managers to ensure sensor specifications are correctly defined and approved by customers.
- Execute customer forecasting to support timely delivery of products.

What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in sales processes to close or support closing opportunities.
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems and sensors, as well as Salesforce CRM.
- Strong communication skills in engineering environments where English is the predominant language.
Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $104,000 to $115,000.
