We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our High-Pressure Pump (HPP) Division, supporting France geographic area. You will assist in the promotion and sales of high-pressure pump and valve systems for the water sector, including desalination, wastewater treatment, and other high-pressure water applications, with focus on Indirect Channel and selected OEMs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and actively develop new business opportunities in France market, supporting the growth of the High-Pressure Pump (HPP) Division, focusing on distributors and selected OEMs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, supporting sales opportunities and addressing customer needs through regular contact.
- Provide technical guidance on Danfoss high-pressure pumps, ERDs, and valve solutions, ensuring clients understand product features and applications, and delivering tailored product proposals.
- Managing the sales pipeline in the CRM to a high standard, while monitoring the market and competitors
- Providing monthly input for demand plan and sales forecast.
- Making professional and accurate proposals to customers.
- Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide client support, including quoting, order follow-up, issue resolution, and technical assistance.
- Travel as needed to meet clients and participate in trade fairs or industry events relevant to the HPP Division.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, or relevant technical experience in water applications.
- Proven technical sales experience in international equipment manufacturing companies, preferably operating in the water treatment, high-pressure pumps or valves sector.
- Experience in selling to OEMs, Contractors, Distributors, End Users…etc., with a demonstrated grasp of value-based selling and the ability to manage the entire sales process from lead follow-up to deal closure.
- Competence in using CRM systems such as SAP and Sales Force.
- Able to work independently or in a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English, some other language will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly up to 50% of time within France geographic area, occasionally to other European countries for internal and market meetings.
