The Impact You'll Make
As our Regional Sales Manager, you will play an important role in driving top-line revenue growth for Danfoss Drives products and solutions by expanding share of wallet within existing accounts and developing new business across the Heavy Industries segment.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (sales leadership, marketing, application teams) and external stakeholders (customers, consultants, partners) to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with Heavy Industry Accounts to deliver revenue, profit margin, and growth targets in Northern India region.
- Develop and execute a business plan, resulting in a robust business growth. Align with sales leaders on strategic accounts and growth targets across market segments
- Build customer relationships at a strategic level with Key Account best practices. Establish strong and healthy relationships with different stakeholders in existing and new accounts.
- Managing leads, opportunities in the Salesforce/CRM system
- Drive strategic Profitability initiatives and Business planning.
- Build and maintain quality internal relationships across the organization, work effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver Best Customer Experience.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in selling variable frequency AC drives within heavy industries such as metal, mining, Cement, Oil & Gas and Power accounts.
- B.E (Electrical or Electronics Engineering) plus MBA.
- Experience of handling both direct project sales and indirect project sales model.
- Holding technical knowledge in both low and medium voltage AC variable frequency drives to understand and provide solutions to customers.
- Ability to construct detailed sales plans, conduct marketing seminars, prepare & discuss proposals with customers.
- Engage with consultants to influence specification as per Danfoss products and solutions.

Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.Experience or exposure to working within heavy industry environments.
- Ability to analyze competitors’ trends.
- Ability to proactively engage with both corporate and site-based external stakeholders and clients.
