As our Sales Manager – South India, Danfoss Climate Solutions, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market reach, and building strong strategic customer relationships across the region.
Your impact? You will help customers adopt innovative and energy-efficient solutions while strengthening Danfoss’ market presence and accelerating sustainable business growth.
You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and application teams while managing customer accounts, sales opportunities, forecasting, and business development activities — helping us create a more sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead sales and business development activities to drive growth of Danfoss High Pressure Pumps across assigned markets.
- Support customers and channel partners by providing technical guidance, product presentations, and solution-based proposals.
- Collaborate with End Users, EPCs, Consultants, OEMs, and internal teams to develop and close business opportunities.
- Use your expertise in value selling, CRM management, and market analysis to strengthen customer engagement and expand sales opportunities.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to enhance business performance and customer success.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering with 8+ years of sales experience in the water treatment industry; experience in High-Pressure Pumps and Energy Recovery Devices is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in value selling, CRM tools, and customer engagement with Water Treatment Companies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
- Self-motivated professional with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, fluent in English, and willing to travel up to 40% across India and occasionally abroad.
