We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our OEM team.  This role will primarily cover Sweden and therefore would ideally suit a candidate based near Stockholm, or home-based, for the right candidate.

 

In this role, you will be part of a team that consists of circa 25 Account managers and Application engineers, and you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market share across the full range of Danfoss Power Solution products for your customer base, while aligning with our strategic vision. Your contribution will be key to accelerating growth in sales and market share.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive business development in line with our Nordic vision, focusing on growth and profitability within mobile hydraulic off highway applications.
  • Collaborate with management and Business Units to define customer-focused sales initiatives, ensuring alignment and achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Accountable for negotiating pricing with customers, ensuring competitiveness while safeguarding profitability. Build and maintain a strong network with decision-makers in customer organizations Develop, implement, and manage Account plans and fostering long term relationships.
  • Manage escalations efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution of issues to maintain strong customer relationships and drive business continuity.
  • Identify future customer requirements and technology trends to guide necessary product development with the different Business Units.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the OEM Sales team, Application Engineering, Pricing, Business Units and Customer Service Representatives to achieve customer satisfaction and the given business target.
  • Travel within Sweden and the Nordic region.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Educational background in Mechanical or Business Engineering or a related field.
  • Account Management experience in a medium- or large structured company, preferably within the mobile hydraulic off highway sector.
  • Detailed experience in Sales & Marketing and/or product management/ Engineering.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with OEMs.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to market share growth, even in competitive environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a global and culturally diverse work environment.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Swedish, with the ability to communicate effectively across different languages and cultures.
  • Exhibit a high level of negotiation, presentation, opportunity management and result-orientation skills
  • Technical understanding of hydraulic applications is a plus
  • Digital Tools experience (e.g. Sales Force) is a plus
