We now have an opportunity to recruit a new Senior Business Development Manager to join Danfoss Power Solutions’ Systems & Services team. This role will be based in Denmark, with approximately 25% global travel.
In this role you will define where and how our system‑level solutions and services win in the market. You will lead early customer engagement, shape compelling value propositions, and guide customers from initial exploration through to full development projects and long‑term service opportunities. Working across sales, engineering, portfolio management, and customer‑facing teams, you will play a pivotal role in building Danfoss’ next growth engine in system solutions for off‑highway machinery—while ensuring customer insight directly informs our offerings, demos, and commercial approach.
What You’ll Be Doing

Define the strategic sales focus for the Systems & Services portfolio across applications, industries, and regions.

Lead high‑quality consultative pre‑study projects that clarify customer needs, architecture, scope, timeline, budget, and expected value.

Drive customer engagement activities—including demos, tech days, and consultative meetings—to build pipeline and strengthen customer confidence.

Shape clear, structured commercial proposals and generate qualified opportunities that convert into development projects and future maintenance contracts.

Act as the internal voice of the customer, feeding insights into portfolio decisions, demos, processes, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For

Strong experience in business development, solution selling, or customer success within a technical or industrial environment.

Proven ability to build structured pipelines and convert early engagement into high‑value commercial opportunities.

Skilled in leading consultative discussions and translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across sales, engineering, portfolio, and customer leadership teams.

Customer‑driven, proactive, commercially minded, and able to bring urgency, structure, and follow‑through to opportunity development.
