The Impact You'll Make
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and deployment of the category strategy. Lead the tactical procurement activities within the region/local plant. The Category Buyer will support on supply issues (delivery/quality) and continues improvement activities with suppliers to secure the lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for executing standard processes and tools related to Materials Change Management.
Request a quote and commercial conditions for new components.
Coordinate PPAPs & Ramp up /Ramp down (Agile CRS's and ECN's)
Responsible for Ramp up/down of new projects.
Support supplier onboarding according to Danfoss Standards incl. Trade Compliance.
The second escalation point for supply issues (Quality / Logistic).
Support inbound on forecast versus supplier capacities. work with Category Manager in case of misalignments.
Own and maintain Procurement Master Data for local / regional sites, incl. SAP data.
Own and maintain Supplier Tooling Database, incl. Input for budget.
Drive Cash Improvement Activities (Consignment Stock/VMI - OLA/SLA improvement on LT/ MOQ)
Active teamwork with the Category Teams and BU teams to constantly improve processes, meet-exceed targets, and share best practices.
Support corrective actions for On Time Delivery (OTD) and lead local OMM with suppliers.
Support and follow up reimbursement activities.
What We're Looking For
Education: Degree or certificate within Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain preferred. Other relevant fields are Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, or Process Engineering.
Experience: experience in Parts and Supplier Management preferred.
Personal attributes: Good communication skills. Ability to influence and work through others.
Problem solving and analytical skills. Flexible, creative, and possessing a "can do" attitude.
