As a Senior Data Engineer based in Chennai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how data is designed, built, and used across Danfoss. Your work will enable reliable, scalable analytics that help teams make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions.
You will sit at the heart of our data ecosystem—connecting business needs with robust data foundations across Databricks, SAP, cloud platforms, and BI solutions. By combining architectural thinking with hands‑on delivery, you will ensure our data products are future‑ready, trusted, and easy to use.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable data solutions across Databricks, SAP, and cloud platforms to support enterprise analytics and reporting needs.
- Translate business requirements into data models and pipelines that deliver reliable, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and transformations to ensure high data quality, performance, and usability.
- Define and apply data engineering standards and reference architectures that promote reuse, security, and consistency.
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver analytics solutions, share best practices, and continuously modernize the data landscape.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands‑on experience with data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks, SAP, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
- Proven expertise with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, pipeline design, and transformation logic in modern data environments.
- Experience applying DevOps/DataOps principles and CI/CD practices for data solutions.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional, global teams.
